Unpacking the Employee Engagement Goal

Almost a year ago, through the employee engagement survey, you provided invaluable data about working at Harvard as a HUIT employee. We took this feedback very seriously and have, as the HUIT senior leadership team, devoted significant time to understanding HUIT's results and reflecting on our role in shaping the work environment. Your trust is critical to us and we are going to work to earn it.

November 20, 2013
  • The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) reviewed milestones for the FY14 Top Ten Goals. Note, milestones highlighted blue are approaching deadlines. Milestones with a blue status have been completed.
    • Strategic Goals 27 (Collaboration), 34 (Define and implement portfolio management) and 35 (Identify Key Positions) are all currently have a yellow status because the completion dates may be delayed by a week or two.

  • The SLT reviewed the Top 10 FY14 goals. Tedford Armistead, Managing Director of Strategy and Planning, introduced his milestones for two of the Top Ten: 
    • Develop HUIT strategy for business continuity and disaster recovery
    • Define and implement project portfolio reporting

  • The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) reviewed the proposed milestones for HUIT's FY14 Top 10 Goals. Some upcoming milestones to be completed in the next two months include 
    • Communicate customer engagement (CE) program schedule to HUIT relationship managers, SLT, CIOs
    • Train HUIT relationship managers on program implementation
    • Achieve "Production Ready" status for O365
    • Converge Black Pearl & LME 1.0 teams/processes into LME 2.0 team and unified project plan
