Alex Garcia-Rangel

Alex Garcia-Rangel brings 20 plus years of Harvard IT experience to his role as Steering Committee Co-Chair. Having first arrived in 1998 at the TH Chan School of Public Health via a staffing agency, he found a home and never left. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Alex has worn numerous hats while working at SPH, and has learned well the value of education and training in advancing one’s career. Roles in service desk, field support, systems administration, student information systems, and now as Senior IT Project Manager, have provided many opportunities to network at Harvard, and he is proud to support the shared experience that the IT Academy stands for. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, snowboarding, and video games.
