We're excited to announce a new workshop offering for faculty and teaching staff: Using VoiceThread in Canvas, February 1, 2021, at 2:00 pm EST. Please register in advance at this link. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create VoiceThreads and then add them to your Canvas course as lessons or assessments and see examples from real courses. We will also cover the new assignment feature for those who have already been using VoiceThread.There will be open Q & A throughout the session.

What is VoiceThread?

A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam). A person can share a VoiceThread with friends, students, and colleagues, and alternatively, they are able to record comments too on the slides.
