Funding agencies and journals have encouraged scientists to make primary data publicly available whenever possible. When you have a mandate but no solution, what can you do? A joint project between Harvard Medical School and Harvard University with support from the Helmsley Trust strives to develop tools to publish large biomedical datasets to address this emerging community need.
