If you're a graduating from Harvard soon, here's some quick tips to get you started offboarding your technology. We recommend beginning this process at least one month prior to your departure, as you may lose access to some of your Harvard accounts after you graduate.
Review when your Harvard accounts will expire
- When you leave Harvard, your access to services such as Zoom, Google, Canvas, and Qualtrics changes. Review the account access and expiration policies.
Download or transfer important files or email
- Download or transfer any important files or emails you may need after you leave Harvard. You may lose access to some accounts after you graduate:
- Transfer your ownership of any SharePoint or Teams sites, OpenScholar, CampusPress, or other Harvard websites, and Qualtrics surveys.
Return borrowed IT equipment
- Gather any Harvard-owned IT equipment that you borrowed and return it to the Walk-in Support Center located in the basement of the Science Center. You are responsible for any lost or damaged equipment.
