"My experience with the cohort 5 IT Mentoring program, has been positive, rewarding and I would recommend it to anyone; especially those new to Harvard. It’s however, important to note that, the experience was rewarding because of the efforts and commitment from each of my mentors and co-mentees. It’s a great platform to connect with peers and senior management, and it provides a space to address personal career development topics, and foster career aspirations. The program helped me to expand my network within Harvard; improve my knowledge of the Harvard landscape, enhance my interpersonal skills, and gained a community of mentors and co-mentees (who were not only great sounding boards on a plethora of career and skill building topics but also became friends). Finally, depending on one’s perspective, the intangible or tangible reward is the exposure to a larger network, which could have a positive impact on one’s career trajectory down the road."
