Google Workspace
Overview
Your Harvard Google account provides access to Google Workspace, a suite of web-based communication, collaboration, and productivity tools including Gmail, Google Drive, and more.
Gmail provides email, calendaring, and integration with Google Drive. Users receive secure email storage, which is filtered for spam, viruses, and other unwanted content.
Google Drive enables you to store, access, and share files (up to Level 3 confidential data) from any device. Drive has two different spaces for files depending on who owns them. My Drive is for your personal files that you own and can be shared individually. Shared drive is for files and folders your team is collaborating on and are owned at the team level. Team members continue to have access to a shared drive even after one leaves.
Google Gemini is an AI chatbot integrated with Workspace featuring chat, search, coding, writing, data analysis, image generation, translation and more. Includes Deep Research and NotebookLM.
