SharePoint, as part of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, provides teams and workgroups with a secure place to store, organize, share, and access information from any device. You start with 25 TBs of expandable storage for up to Level 3 data per site, which can be shared externally with non-Harvard faculty and staff. Storage for Level 4 data is available upon request with restrictions. 

Data classification level

Approved for up to Medium Risk Confidential (L3) data using standard Harvard SharePoint

Can be configured for High Risk Confidential (L4) data by request only

Faculty in Central Administration, FAS, Harvard College, DCE, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HLS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), Radcliffe, and SPH.
Staff in Central Administration, FAS, Harvard College, DCE, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HLS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), Radcliffe, and SPH.
Students in FAS, Harvard College, DCE, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HLS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), Radcliffe, and SPH.
Researchers in Central Administration, FAS, Harvard College, DCE, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HLS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), Radcliffe, and SPH.
