Microsoft is upgrading the Teams app. The new Microsoft Teams will improve performance, making the app faster and easier to use.
In early April, new Teams will become the default app, and users can toggle between it and Microsoft Teams classic. Starting in mid-May, all computers which meet the minimum system requirements will be updated with the new Teams app and the toggle to switch will be removed. Users who don’t meet the minimum requirements can continue to use Microsoft Teams classic until July 1, 2024.
